With women experiencing menopause now the fastest-growing demographic in the workplace, it’s more important than ever for employers to have a good understanding of menopause and how they can support colleagues through the transition. (ACAS, 2021). In 2019, The Office of National Statistics (ONS) labour market data showed that women over 50 were responsible for 42 per cent of this employment growth over the previous decade.
Therefore, the successful management of the impact of menopause at work is vital for both employees and employers alike.
